Yama which defines social attitudes(ethics)
1. Yama: five social moral laws
a. Ahimsa (Non Violence) – Not to harm by words, ideas or deeds
b. Satya (Truthfulness) – To follow truth in heart, speech and actions
c. Asteya (non-covetousness) – Refrain from the stealing nature
d. Brahmacharya –It has two meanings: Celibacy ,Self control in all things .
e.Aprigraha (Non-possessiveness) – Do not accumulate many things than necessary ,more positions more worries
Niyama which defines personal (virtuous behaviors)
a. Purification – purification of body and mind
b. Contentment – To be content with what you have and work hard for what you want to own, instead of suffering
c. Asceticism (Tap) – to overcome conflicts with intense self-descipline whatever may be the situation we should remain calm to face problem
d. Self. -Study – to see our true divine nature through the contemplation of our life’s lessons and through the meditation on the truths revealed by seers and sages
